Help Mai in her battle with CRPS

We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!
Mai has Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, a neurological disorder that affects your nervous system and is extremely painful. Ranked at the top of the pain scale and higher than both childbirth and amputation on the McGill Pain Index, CRPS is sometimes called “The Suicide Disease” and is commonly described as your body being on fire. Mai has been struggling with CRPS since she was 13 and her quality of life has decreased drastically in the last 5 years.
After years of doctors telling Mai that they could not help her, we have found a clinic that not only understands Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, but specializes in it. The Spero Clinic treats the root cause of this disorder, Neurologic dysfunction, and offers a solution instead of a bandaid. The Spero clinic has an 85% success rate with helping patients reach their pain reduction goals with their approach. Please visit the Spero page to see some of the amazing success stories.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 to allow Mai to complete 13 -15 weeks of treatment. At the clinic, she will work through 10-14 therapy modalities each week that retrain her brain and nervous system to heal from within. The clinic has found this “barrel approach” over 14 weeks is what allows for safe and lasting results.
We would love and appreciate your help to get her there. To make this happen, we are partnering with The Burning Limb Foundation. The BLF is a nonprofit organization created to help people struggling with CRPS. 100% of your donation will go towards Mai and will be used to pay for treatment costs and expenses while she is there. All donations are tax deductible.
