Reylee Katner, age 17, has been diagnosed with full-body CRPS ( Complex Regional Pain Syndrome). CRPS is a disorder of the nervous system that causes tremendous pain. This condition is likely a result of her other diagnoses of Lyme disease, co-infections, and toxic mold exposure. After a month of fevers in early 2017, Reylee was left with unrelenting fatigue and stomach pain, which in January of 2020 progressed to non-stop head and facial pain. Nothing we have tried has relieved her pain. The pain has now spread throughout her whole body, greatly diminishing her quality of life, and causing us to fear for her future. She has spent most of her time in bed the past couple of years, struggling to do the basics of life, as well as sports and social activities due to her pain and fatigue. We have seen what she can do continue to decline as she gets worse, and this has to stop. She needs to get better.

After 5 years visiting mainstream and alternative doctors and trying protocols that have failed to bring any relief or healing, we have hope again after finding the Spero Clinic.. They have a novel approach in treating the nervous system with such success that it has drawn chronic pain and CRPS patients from all over the world to their clinic for help. Their success in bringing patients to a state of remission is unprecedented! We have been following their clinic for the past year on social media, thinking it would be a last resort for Reylee. When she required a hospital visit to try and get control of her severe pain recently, we knew it was time to reach out to the Spero Clinic.

Our goal is to raise $50k to allow Reylee to complete approximately 12-16 weeks of treatment at the Spero Clinic. Despite their success, none of the treatment protocol is currently covered by insurance. We need your help to get her there, so we are partnering with the Burning Limb Foundation ( a 501c3 nonprofit) as our fundraising platform. 100% of the proceeds of your donation will benefit Reylee, and are used to pay for treatment costs and expenses while we are there.
